The Clydebank and Duntocher public reacted angrily as it was revealed Drumchapel Amateurs had put Glenhead Park up for sale just 9 months after Bankies left.
Glenhead, known locally as "The Hibby" has fallen into a state following Bankies tenancy ending at the end of last season.Rumours had been abound that The Ams were in the process of relaunching a Duntocher Junior team but this latest news will surely put that move in doubt.
This weeks Clydebank Post ran a story on the possible move of Drumchapel Ams to a new site in Knightswood but there was littlein the way of comment from "The Drum", for a change.
It remains to be seen what will come of this latest news.
