As expected, today's Scottish Cup tie is off due to a frozen park.

Despite temperatures rising towards the end of the week, it wasn't enough to thawout Holm Park.

A referee inspected the park at 8.30 this morning and gave it the thumbs down.

The inspection was carried out slightly earlier than it would be for most league games to give Carnoustie plenty of notice before setting off from the North East.

Groundsman Stooky McSporran now has another 7 days to work on the park before the clubs try again next Saturday.

Before that, Bankies take on Rutherglen in a friendly on Monday night.
