Bankies came through this tough Scottish Cup test to Ayrshire with a singl goal victory on Saturday

Bankies were down to the bare bons for this tie and even had to list Budgie McGhie and Stuart Allison amongst the subs.

The pitch passed a morning inspection and thankfully went ahead at the first time of asking after Bankies had gone three weeks without a game.

Clydebank were on top throughout and finally got the goal through Brian Smith on 35 minutes.

Mark Hailstones almost made ot 2-0 but his effort came back of the post.

The home side finished with nine men and Bankies ten when Paul Allium was sent off in the closing stages.
