Charlie Hobbs was the Bankies hero with an 82nd minute equaliser at Holm Park, but still the winless run agaisnt our Burgh rivals at their own patch goes on
Bankies made a number of changes to the side that won 4-0 at Perthshire on Wednesday. Stefan Gonet was just one of several players to return.A crowd of 359 assembled at Holm Park and watched a rather drab first half.
Brian Smith and Stevie Dallas had the best Clydebank chances of the half while Yoker had an effort ruled out for a foul on Stefan Gonet as the half time arrived with no goals.
The second half saw Bankies up the tempo a bit and the inroduction of Mark Maxwell sparked some life into the "home" side.
Dallas and Maxwell both had efforts ruled out for offside while Gary Lynn saw a free kick rattle the bar.
So Bankies on the up - perfect timing for Yoker to take the lead. Ex-Bankie Graeme Dempsey heading home a corner to give the "visitors" a shock lead.
Clydebank tried to respond and introduced Charlie Hobbs to the play.
It was Hobbs who was to be the hero when he headed the equaliser with 8 minutes loeft at the far post.
The game petered out and Bankies picked up three cautions throughout as both sides took a point.
Ashfield's 5-1 win means bankies need a victory over them at Saracen Park on Tuesday night.
