It was a winning start for Bankies Sectional League Cup campaign as they saw off Maryhill at Holm Park to pick up the first three points

An uneventful first half ended goalless although the visitors did have a goal chopped off from Brian Miller, one of a number of ex Bankies in the 'Hill kine up.

The winning goal came on 64 minutes from the penalty spot after the keeper brought own Stevie Dymock. Gary Lynn converted.

Bankies travel to Millburn on Saturday for a friendly with the Vale of LEven
