A crowd of justunder 400 gathered at Holm Park to see Bankies go down to bookies title favourites Cumnock earlier this afternoon

Bankies were rocked with a number of injuries and suffered a late call off from Charlie Hobbs.

Alan Vezza and Joh Harvey returned to the starting line up in place of the injured Gary Lynn and Mark Hailstones.

Cumnock took the lead on 29 minutes through ex Bankie TAM CURRIE

Bankies were level nine minutes later when STEVIE DALLAS netted from the spot.

Cumnock took the lead four minutes after the break and finished off the win with a third in the last minute.

Bankies will have to improve fast if they want to sustain a promotion challenge this season.
