Michael Keenan's fine drive four minutes from time was all that could seperate the sides at Holm Park this afternoon in a tight encounter.

Budgie McGhie fielded 2 trialists and 3 of his summer signings in the starting 11 with a few mor erecognisable faces on the bench.

Both sides worked hard as would be expected at this time of year. Stevie Dymock was closest in the first half when he rounded the 'Lie keeper but saw his effort cleared by a defender.

Both sides made a raft of changes as the second half begun and wore on. Arthurlie won the game with four minutes to play. Keenan's effort leaving Stefan Gonet with no chance in the Bankies goal.

Next up for Bankies is the restoration of the County derby when the short trip down the A814 takes us to Dumbarton and the Strathclyde Homes Stadium.
