"I was satisfied with the overall performance.

Yes, we should have scored more goals with the chances we created and yes it was also annoying to concede an injury time goal and not record a clean sheet but on reflection it was quite a convincing victory. Particularly pleasing from my point of view was that a number of points that had been highlighted pre-match were taken on board and without revealing too many details, certain individuals produced performances when challenged.

Having said that it was a game which would probably throw up many candidates for a man of the match award which is always an indication that its been a good team performance.

Its only three points and I don't think it tells us too much as far as the season ahead goes. If we want to improve on last seasons league performance the challenge I think we'll have is to match last season's home record but also be more consistent on our travels!"

Hopefully that will start with a win over Neilston on Saturday!!
