THE HOSTS TOOK THE HONOURS in the tournament with a single goal win over Bankies at Bellsdale on Sunday

Bankies included Stevie Dallas from the start and former Bankie James McKinstry was at the heart of the defence as Bankies fielded a couple of trialists as they often do in these games.

Over the 90 minutes it was a cagey game, Bankies having the best of the chances but losing out to a goal midway through the second half after a defensive lapse let in Bonar McKenzie to rifle past Stefan Gonet.

Dallas and Stevie Blair had bankies best chances of the game in the second half.

Several trialists impressed in this runout which included the obligatory number of second half subs whih disrupted the rythm.

Bankies will shuffle the pack again on Wednesday for the trip to Keanie Park and Johnstone Burgh
