Bankies director Bill Abraham today released the following details for the online silent auction which will form part of this years Sporting Dinner to be held on March 7th.

As those of you who have been to Sporting Dinners in the past will know, one of the main fundraisers on the night is the auction of prizes ... particularly football tops.

As all of the tickets for this year's event are now sold, there will be folk who wanted to go but cannot for whatever reason. In order to allow people to contribute to the fundraising element of the night without actually attending, the following Silent Auction items will be available.

Clydebank 08-09 Away jersey. Signed by the current squad - I will also arrange for it to be signed by all of the ex-players that attend the evening.

Clydebank 08-09 Home Jersey - Signed as per Away top.

Signed Football. As above - will arrange for this to be signed by the current squad and ex-players. There will be more than one available.

Team Photo - 08-09 - signed by the current squad and ex-players. There will be more than one available.

Anyone wishing to bid for these items should contact myself via a PM to me via the forum or mail fao myself to clydebankfc@blueyonder.co.uk . You need to : Give your full name and address and a contact no / e-mail - plus a note of the item you wish to bid for and the amount of the bid.

This will hopefully be of interest to overseas contributers and those unable to make the night - although there's nothing to stop someone who will attend the night being able to bid in advance.

The deadline for bids to be received is 5pm on Friday 6th March. Winning bidders will then be contacted to let them know and to arrange payment and collection / posting details. I can arrange for the items to be framed and sent to the winning bid. Please indicate on your bid if you wish this - however an amount will require to be paid to cover the cost - £60 for framing the tops - which would be in addition to the bid amount. P&P to be arranged after the winning bid is known.

This is a way to help support the club's fundraising efforts even though you can't physically make it along on the night.
