Clydebank introduced MARK HAILSTONES for Selkirk around ten minutes into the first half and with almost his first touch he scorched a rare 25 yarder past Prior and into the top corner of the net to give The Bankies the lead with just short of an hour gone.
The home sides Thompson had come close to scoring just a minute previous to The Bankies goal.
Smith pulled another fine save from Gonet with the clock ticking before Fraser shot wide in stoppage time as bankies hung on for the three points.
